Katadyn BeFree Filter AC 1L Competition

Imagine stepping onto a trail or into your next big adventure with the confidence that clean, great tasting water is always within reach. From September 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026 Ultralight Outdoor Gear is hosting a prize draw for a Katadyn BeFree Filter AC 1L in Slate Blue, a compact and capable hydration companion for hikers, travelers and everyday explorers.

The BeFree AC 1L is designed to go the distance with a two-stage filtration system that keeps things simple yet effective. The first stage uses a hollow fibre filter at 0.1 micron to guard against protozoa and bacteria, while the second stage houses a replaceable activated carbon pad that helps improve taste and reduce odour. With a capacity up to 1000 litres depending on water quality and a fast flow of up to 2 litres per minute, you can hydrate quickly even when you are on the move.

Maintenance is straightforward thanks to the EZ-Clean Membrane, which lets you shake or swish the filter in water to clear debris—no backflushing or tools required. The BeFree AC 1L also features a rugged handle for easy hanging from a backpack, a secure flip-cap to prevent leaks, and a removable silicone mouthpiece for cleaning or replacement.

Who can join? The competition invites entrants online or by post, and every valid entry received during the dates above goes into the draw. The prize is the Katadyn BeFree Filter AC 1L (Slate Blue colour only). The winner will be drawn on October 2, 2026 and will be notified by email. If you don’t hear from us, you weren’t selected this time, but there’s always another adventure around the corner.

Compact, dependable and built to travel light, the slate blue Katadyn BeFree Filter AC 1L is a practical partner for day hikes, weekend trips and travel alike. It offers reliable filtration without weighing you down, so you can focus on the scenery, the trail and the memories you’ll create along the way.

With Ultralight Outdoor Gear as the host, this competition celebrates the spirit of outdoor exploration and the joy of having a trusted filtration friend by your side. The BeFree Filter AC 1L is easy to carry, simple to use and ready to drink when you are, making it a standout companion for your next adventure.
