Win a Bookshop Day bundle!

On Saturday 10 October, Bookshop Day lights up bookshops across the UK and Ireland with author events, exclusive editions, and plenty of book-loving joy. National Book Tokens are celebrating this special day with a generous prize draw that invites readers to dream big, head to their favourite indie bookshop, and celebrate stories in style. Ten lucky winners will receive a Bookshop Day bundle designed to spark a reading adventure right away.

Each bundle includes this year's limited-edition tote bag, a cheerful reminder to pop into bookshops and collect new adventures, and a National Book Tokens gift card worth £20 in the UK or €25 in Ireland, perfect for choosing that next great read. The tote bag pairs beautifully with a stack of new books, notebooks, or even your next cafe stop before you turn the page. This year's bag is created by children's book illustrator Jane Foster.

Imagine strolling into your local bookshop, the tote swinging from your shoulder, scanning shelves for your next favorite story, and paying with a National Book Tokens gift card that makes the experience even sweeter. The twist of this prize is its celebration of community bookshops—those welcoming spaces where readers discover hidden gems, attend signings, and meet fellow book lovers. This Bookshop Day bundle is a little token of thanks to the readers who keep bookshops buzzing all year round, a gift that helps you bring home more books to love and share.

The details of this competition are simple and friendly: ten bundles are up for grabs, and the prize is the tote bag plus a delightful gift card that makes your next bookish purchase easier, whether you’re in England, Scotland, Wales, or Ireland. It’s all about enjoying stories, discovering new authors, and sharing the magic of reading with friends and family. Good luck to all who enter, and may your next book arrive with the same excitement as when you opened the cover for the first time.
