Win £200 per person towards an Aurora Zone holiday

In celebration of Collins Astronomy Week, Collins invites you to step into the glow of the Northern Lights with a prize that feels like a journey under a starry sky. One lucky entrant will receive £200 per person toward an Aurora Zone holiday, making it easier to plan a magical trip to witness the aurora borealis. The prize is designed for two adults aged 15 and up, giving you the chance to share a dream night under shimmering skies and unforgettable landscapes.

Along with the travel credit, the winner will receive a copy of Northern Lights by Tom Kerss, a friendly, insightful guide to auroras that blends science with stories from the field. Tom Kerss brings a warmth and curiosity to the pages, inviting readers to learn about what makes the lights dance and where to look when the skies turn green and gold.

Entering is simple and fun. On the promotion page you will find a short question to answer and, if you’d like, options to enter via social media as part of the Collins Astronomy Week celebrations. Each eligible entry boosts your chances of winning and brings you one step closer to a stellar night out under the aurora.

The opening date for this prize is Friday 9 October 2026, a date that kicks off a week of astronomy-inspired activities and giveaways. The event spans multiple days, with different prizes up for grabs, all designed to spark curiosity and celebrate the wonder of the night sky. Whether you are a seasoned skywatcher or a curious newcomer, this is your invitation to dream big, learn a little, and maybe bring home a glowing memory from a far northern horizon.

Prizes are awarded in accordance with the terms and conditions published on the promotion page. This prize blends exploration and literature, offering travel credit toward a magical aurora-focused getaway and a guidebook that deepens your appreciation for the night sky. Best of luck, and may your evenings be filled with wonder as bright as the aurora itself.

Discover the magic of the Canadian, Norwegian, Finnish or Icelandic landscapes that are renowned for their clear skies and dramatic vistas. Each Aurora Zone package is crafted to maximize chances to view the aurora, with guided excursions, comfortable lodges and opportunities to learn about the science behind the lights.

Plan ahead with a flexible itinerary as you chase the aurora across different locations, with plenty of opportunities for cozy evenings under a sky full of color. The prize is a contribution toward the trip and does not cover all costs, but it opens a door to a truly memorable experience under one of nature's grandest light shows.
